Why we built the W2
We were fed up watching great players get penalized because their wedge didn’t give them all the shots they needed — so we designed a wedge that can do everything, giving the advanced player all the options around the green for any condition, with a greater margin for error. A wedge that is now in play on professional tours worldwide.
What the W2 is
Introducing the W2. A mid effective-bounce, mid-sole-angle wedge, built for versatility. Lean the shaft and play lower shots, or open the face and flight it higher — the sole angle is balanced to support both without fighting you.
At its center is Avoda’s Split Sole Technology: the sole is divided into the front sole and the midsole, engineered to work together. The front sole manages first contact with the ground, resisting the dig without stopping the club dead. The midsole controls what happens through the turf, pushing back just enough to prevent the club bouncing off or slipping under the ball. The result: all the shots you need around the green, with a much bigger margin for error on mishits.
