Here’s the breakdown for each of our sets.
Option 1: Traditional Length
Traditional Length is designed for the player who wants to keep the game exactly as it’s always been played. You don’t need to relearn setup, posture, or timing. You still get the benefit of Avoda’s face curvature and sole technology, but within the familiar structure of traditional iron lengths. It’s the most natural transition for golfers who are comfortable with their current setup and simply want better performance from the way they already play.
Option 2: Same Length
Same Length is designed to simplify the swing and setup. Every club is built at the same length, giving you the same distance from the ball and the same setup across the entire set. That consistency helps players learn faster, strike the ball more cleanly, and build repeatable motion. It’s especially effective for newer golfers looking for simplicity, or for high-speed players who already hit the ball high and want to tighten dispersion and control through a simplified setup. For most players, it’s a tool for learning consistency first, with optimization of ball flight coming later.
Option 3: Combo Length
If you are already playing a same length set but struggle to generate enough height or spin in the longer irons, or feel that the wedges and short irons are too long and harder to control, then Combo Length is the natural next step — giving you the same simplicity and consistency in your scoring clubs, while restoring proper performance and gapping in the mid and long irons.
Combo Length combines the advantages of both same length and traditional length sets while removing the limitations of each. We’ve taken the benefit of same length scoring clubs and applied them to your wedges and short irons, but built them at 36 inches instead of a 37-inch (7-iron length) setup, making them significantly more comfortable and natural to set up to for players who previously felt their 7-iron-length wedges and scoring irons were too long or difficult to control.
From there, Combo Length transitions into variable-length mid and long irons, allowing you to maintain proper gapping, launch, height, and spin as loft decreases. This solves the two biggest issues players face: wedges that feel too long in same-length sets, and long irons that become difficult to launch in full same-length builds. Combo Length is built for everyone — tight proximity where it matters most in your scoring clubs, and optimized launch and flight where it’s needed most in your long game.
